A step by step guide to losing, 20, 50, 100 or more lbs in a very short time compared to other diets. Satisfying for the most difficult and obese problem dieters. Originally conceived from the bariatric Doctors at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Here's a diet that charges no membership fees or requires no meal ordering from a program, just follow the book and lose weight! http://www.Shakes-Popcorn-and-Ice-Cream-Diet.com I've dieted for more than 45 years. I've lost weight on Atkins and Weight Watchers and always gained back more. I gave up on dieting and trying to lose weight and believed it was something totally unattainable for me. I ended up in a wheel chair and needing oxygen, not a happy place to be, and realized if I didn't do something I was going to die. Dramatic, yes, I would say so. First, I went to my "primary" Doctor who thought I should have the gastric bypass operation and sent me to the bariatric surgeon in Miami as the only hope of saving myself. The surgeon scheduled me as well as about 200 other previous patients and potential patients to attend a two hour support group meeting, in a small auditorium. They discussed how this procedure saved their lives and attested that it was the best gift they gave to themselves, since not all insurance companies cover the procedure and you have to dig deep into your pocket to pay for it. I set up the private consultation with the Doctor and I was ready to have my stomach cut out, stapled, bypassed or anything else I could do in order to become a new person. The meeting with the Doctor went well. He explained all the possibilities and told of all the possible mishaps and complications that could happen such as dying or becoming a vegetable but the odds of that happening were only 2 in every 100 patients, with complications hovering around 10. Not encouraging but I had to have it - live or die! An appointment was made and a week later I was in the waiting room of my cardiologist! In I go to the office after waiting an hour and fifteen minutes and we exchange all of our pleasantries about how I am and what's been going on. I told him I was there because I needed his clearance for stomach bypass surgery before they operate. "Sorry I can't do that" and I said "why not?" He answered "Because if you have the surgery, you won't get up off the operating table alive... Your heart can't take it." "You're kidding" I said. "No I'm not!" he said. "Then what the hell am I going to do?, I asked. If I stay like this I'm going to die anyway!" I was really depressed and desperate. I thought my life was over. I just couldn't imagine not having the surgery; it just never entered my mind! "Pretend you had it!" he said. "Do everything you would do as if you had it. The surgery doesn't cut out your weight; it only makes your stomach smaller. Your brain is still the same brain that wants to eat. So you can eat whatever those who have had the surgery eat. True they had the surgery, and it might be a little harder for you, but just pretend, you had it!" I left in a total state of disappointment and dejection, and just didn't know what to do. Certainly I couldn't just pretend. I haven't been able to cut my eating down before, by eating salads and watching every morsel I ate. This was stuff I just didn't eat and don't want to eat and I couldn't just eat a little of this and a little of that. So, I stayed depressed and continued eating for about two more months, just feeling hopeless. Then my brother, to whom I was telling all my woes, tells me he's having the gastric bypass surgery in California at UCLA. for more information about our book Visit http://www.lulu.com/content/3383366 and buy a copy of my book to get your sexy body back!

Get inspired by Holly's weight loss story on the easiest diet plan from eDiets meal delivery plan. http://www.ediets.com/weight-loss/easy-diet-plans/index.html Take a peek at our newest star behind the scenes! "It's the easiest plan to stick with by far," Holly says. She has many favorites on the plan, including the Lasagna, Cheesy Penne Pasta and Chicken Vesuvio, but as she says, "It's all really good, I eat everything that's available, I just cycle through all of the meals! The list of what I like far outweighs the list of what I don't!" Best of all, she loves that each meal is well-balanced and perfectly portioned -- it's one less thing she has to think about while trying to balance full-time school, studying, workouts and family time!
